1. There are generally two problems with oil seals

4. Improper installation or failure of internal accessories
When installing the oil seal, if there is a special tool, it must be pressed into the oil seal with a special tool. Do not hit the oil seal with a hammer, so as not to deform the oil seal or break the spring and fail. If the lip is flanged, the spring will come off or the oil seal will have to be removed and reinstalled.
